Surprise Guest
We were excited to welcome Karin Skill on her first visit to the club.  She has family in the area (Mount Salem, Woodstock) and has purchased a mobile home at Springwater intending to spend the summers here and return to Florida for the winters. Karin is a member of the RC  of Bradenton, Florida. Welcome Karin! (karinskrill44@gmail.com). Do check their website: www.bradentonrotary.org
The social time saw a lively discussion on a variety of topics.  Bill Horn produced a copy of the invitation circulated in 2009 by Trish Shouldice in Owen Sound welcoming everyone to Ed’s 80th. Good to have Ed and Kathy with us today.  Malcolm Rust showed pictures taken during last weekend’s picnic at the Elevated Park.  Frustration was expressed that no progress has been made in selecting adjudicators for the 2019 Music Festival.  Trudy Kanellis (our photographer today) had replied to the hospital foundation in saying that while we will not participate in next month’s Golf Classic we will hope to continue to support the Foundation in the future.
