45 were given to the Woman's Shelter last year.
Some are for sale; revenue generated has been 
awesome. She can't get Harris bears now and is
sourcing from Ganz. There may be district grant 
money available to purchase more bears.

INTERACTORS
Trudy also reported that the Interactors sold 406 Pony Poop'n Bingo tickets at the Home show. 704 have been sold to date for revenue of $1685. Interactors are also hosting the next meeting with Rotaractors in the evening at 5:30 Wednesday April 10 at the Wayside. There will be no noon Rotary meeting that day. There will be buffet dinner at 6 p.m., bar service and lots of fun. RSVP to Trudy if you plan to attend. There will also be member inductions and Paul Harris members honoured. The District Governor will be in attendance. 
 
KEYNOTES CONCERT Friday 5April19
7 p.m. at Central United Church. This event boasts an exceptional musical concert and awards ceremony. Bring your spouse or friends! Free will donation. 
 
TREE PLANTING
Following Trudy's inquiry and member's indication of support, President Trish contacted the Kettle Creek Conservation Authority (KCCA). We are planting trees again this year on May 2, 2019 at 4pm at Kettle Creek Conservation area, Ferguson Line.  Get ready for some fresh air and exercise.
 
VISIT TO STRATHROY CLUB
President Todd Stepanuik and the members of the Strathroy Club will greet us for their noon lunch meeting on: Tuesday April 23, 2019 at Duke Restaurant, 51 Front St East, Strathroy (located in the Kenwick Mall). Lunch is a menu and the cost is $18 including beverages. Our usual Wednesday April 24 meeting is cancelled. 
 
CHOCOLATE EXTRAVAGANZA, Saturday April 13, Columbus Club, 265 Wellington St, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Vendors are booked. Please sell, sell, sell those tickets. People who indicated they could help with the event so far include:  Adriana, Mary, Barb, Bill, Pat M., Ron, Trish. We could use everyone available!
 
50/50 AND FINES
Mary won the 50/50 draw. 
Mary stood in for Barbara as fine master. 
 
EAST COAST KITCHEN PARTY
Our club is donating a power washer to the East Coast Kitchen Party auction. Barbara Warnock is also hosting another dinner with proceeds to the club.  Last year her dinners sold for $700! The date is 10May2019 at the Hellenic Centre, London. Contact Barbara for your spot at a table. Meal choices this year include: Full lobster, surf and turf, chicken and vegetarian. Service and bar service has been improved. Ticket price is:  $100 plus HST. It will be an amazing evening of East Coast music. 
 
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AWARDS DINNER
The Chamber of Commerce Awards night with Peter Mansbridge speaking will be held on Thursday May 9th at St. Anne's Centre. The Wayside is catering and we have 11 people attending thus far.  If you know of 5 more who wish to join us, we can create another table of 8 where the ticket per person price goes down to $75 including tax. Talk to President Trish or Jennifer Babcock for details.

Ron 3 - birthdays: son, grandson, daughter in law
Bill 3- Maggie gone to see sister in US, Grandson has moved to Ontario from Alberta
Trish 2- birthday granddaughter, Trudy's many endeavours for our club
Nancy 2 - saw the Indiana Pacers play in US and she is walking again more easily
Adriana 1- Marco Jr got an apartment in Oshawa

Pat Martin 2- She is back from Taiwan after 16 hours one way in a plane. Also for Brian's talk.
