STEGH Staff Lunch a Success
 Perfectly grilled hot dogs, excellent homemade cookies, apples, lemonade and chips were served to STEGH staff for a thank you lunch, held at St. Hilda’s-St. Luke’s parking lot on Thursday May 26, 2002. Sponsored by a joint venture with between the Anglican Church on Elm St. and the Rotary Club of St. Thomas, many volunteers were on hand to direct, cook and to provide tables and chairs and general assistance to the crowd.
The weather cooperated and, though it was a cool and breezy at times, it did not rain. Sunny smiles were evident on all the faces passing by the food tables to pack their brown bag.  Many thanks to the organizers and large number of volunteers. Kenzie Bonnett, Marketing and Communications Officer for the STEGH Foundation gave ample assistance in publicizing the free event and also came to take the pictures.

The Fine Master was Nancy. What is the focus of Rotary this year? Empowering Girls. There is only one case of Polio in Pakistan. What is the Object of Rotary?(taken from the Rotary Club of Dronfield) The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:

FIRST. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
SECOND. High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
THIRD. The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;
FOURTH. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
