Rotaserver Notes March 13 2019
Welcome guests, Paul Blower, Sue and Rick Storey, (Rick is a member of new passport club)Michele Heidekamp; Maggie Horn and Jessica Petz.  If you wish to contact Jessica her email is jessfayepetz@gmail.com  She is  Rotary Global Scholar for 2015 16.
Sue Storey and Malcolm Rust introduced Global Scholar Jessica Petz. Jessica a native of St Thomas and Central Elgin graduate.  Our club sponsored her.  She attended The London School of Hygiene and Tropical program and took her Masters in Science in Public Health in Developing Countries with a small very diverse group of students.  Rotary Club of Golders Green was her local sponsor club.  She met many Rotary scholars.  She became a research assistant in water, sanitation and hygiene research.   The $30,000 Rotary gift covered her tuition fees.  She did projects in Haiti, Madagascar,  Sierra Leone and Iraq.  She is currently looking for a position with a Canadian non-profit.  
Sue asked us to think of folks that might qualify for the Scholar for 2021/22.
